iMethods is seeking a Healthcare ITTrainer for a community hospital in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a Cerner Training background, but this is only preferred. This is a full-time position that will require the candidate to be onsite.
Responsible for the evaluation, implementation support, maintenance and training of clinical documentation applications. The Training Support analyst is an integral part of information services teams. In addition, the analyst will work closely with the quality improvement and clinical services programs.
Design and Develop Education/Training Programs for Cerner
Utilize training design fundamentals and correct grammar in all documentation and communication.
Design and develop training curricula and supporting documentation for both instructor-lead FMS and eLearning formats for both new and existing users.
Update and maintain the training curricula for all areas of the hospital.
Create job aids for areas of difficulty and/or changes to the system
Incorporates process, policy and procedure updates into training materials and communicates and trains on changes as necessary
Populate and maintain patients in the Train Domain
Assist with developing and updating on-line competencies
Assist with other training duties as needed
Deliver Education/Training Programs for Users
Delivery of technical training to all new and existing nurses, residents, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Physicians and other audiences. Includes, but not limited to initial roll-out training, re-fresher training and new hire staff/Provider training.
Deliver other software training as needed. (i.e. Dragon)
Must be flexible and willing to work various shifts and days, as required.
Delivery ratings will be determined by end-user evaluations and manager observationsMake recommendations based on observations
Respond to all inquires and requests from Providers and/or staff in a timely manner
Assist with Upgrades, Go-lives and Special Projects
Assist with training and supporting new hospitals coming into the shared domain where appropriate
Attend go-lives and follow-up with Providers and staff
Work with staff and supervisor to understand training needs
Assist with site visits (ensure equipment is present and working, perform demos, if needed)
Work with supervisor to determine scope and project assignments
