SENIOR CLINICAL SYSTEMS ANALYST
(ALTERA/ALLSCRIPTS CLINICAL SYSTEMS)

The Senior Clinical Systems Analyst will provide implementation and configuration support to EHR-related applications for the health system. The Senior Clinical Systems Analyst will support the installation, operations, maintenance, and support of systems including Altera Sunrise Clinical Manager (“SCM”).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support and recommendations to the team for Altera SCM. 
  • Uses technical skills and provides guidance and direction in the development, implementation and maintenance of complex production information systems.
  • Adheres to internal controls and standards established for department.
  • Provides assistance in isolating and solving problems within application systems, interfaces, and middleware infrastructure.
  • Plans and coordinates programming projects within a particular work group.
  • Assists and advises colleagues in the solution of highly technical and complex problems and solutions.
  • Functions as a senior programming consultant in advanced computer technology and architecture.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five (5) years supporting Altera/Allscripts systems within healthcare system. 
  • Ability to work alone assertively completing projects by deadlines.
  • Ability to lead, engage and mentor others to achieve a very high level of application systems availability and integration.
  • Must be able to lead problem solving efforts when mission critical systems are interrupted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate competency and ability to support Informatics processes and worklfow.
  • Basic/Advanced competency with Microsoft Windows OS at Desktop/Server level.
  • Experience with the technical support and maintenance of EHR and clinical applications.
