CLINICAL BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
Seeking a Business and Financial Systems Analyst with experience in Hospital Information Management (HIM), Document Imaging Solutions and System Implementation supporting Operations and IT functional areas.
Works as part of an application specific support team that works closely with end users, designs and builds applications to meet defined business requirements.
Responsible for completely understanding the application including designing, building, and configuring the application.
May be responsible for more than one application.
May be expected to write documentation to describe application support.
Works closely with vendors when appropriate and is expected to be knowledgeable on product limitations and planned development efforts.
Works with system stakeholders on specific deliverables including but not limited to Requirements Document(s).
Works closely with HIM Department and project participants on best practices and optimization, working with Health Information Management (HIM) Leaders.
Coordinates and leads project related tasks with HIM Leaders and HIM Workgroups, while reporting to an overall Project/Program Manager.
Ensures on-time project deliverables by effectively coordinating, influencing, and organizing resources on project teams.
Works closely with other IS teams to make appropriate business and application integration decisions.
Must understand and communicate how enterprise IT solutions support and impact multiple business and clinical processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience with functional configuration or SDLC project implementation, preferably experience with Hyland OnBase software.
Operational experience with hospital-based HIM (Hospital Information Management) business processes and HIM operations.
Experience conducting workflow review and feature analysis of HIM applications as part of systems project implementation(s).
Experience with the system support including configuration and troubleshooting of business and financial systems and related applications.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.
Education: Bachelors in Health Information Management (HIM); Computer/Information Sciences
Certification(s): American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) certifications such as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP), etc.
Hyland OnBase Certifications such as OnBase Certified Advanced Workflow Administrator; OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator for Customers, OnBase Certified Advanced System Administrator etc.
Seven (7) years of healthcare experience in project management and coordination as well as business analysis.
Experience with Document Image Solutions for both Business, IT and HR systems.
Experience with system analysis and support of HIM applications.
