iMethods is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst | Cerner Charge Services for a health system in Central Eastern Georgia. This a Consult to Permenant position

OVERVIEW

This analyst leads design, configuration, testing, and support of charge services across the spectrum of operation. They develop and maintain current and accurate understanding and material of their applications and leverage internal and vendor resources to deliver problem identification and resolution. They manage their time and areas of responsibilities effectively and provide timely updates to management. Prior skills and experience in Cerner Charge Services and transformation rules. This includes charge services programs (dcptools, CCL, cspricingtool, cschargeviewer, cstiermaint, etc) for various clinical and ancillary workflows. They collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and SMEs to support charging for all Clinical and Revenue Cycle workflows.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS    

  1. Completes system application builds based on departmental SMEs designs. Maintains accountability for build quality and follow up actions for system configurations and changes. Collects and analyzes information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system. Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance and development of the system. 
  2. Manages and resolves assigned incident and change request tickets using industry standards, tools and ITIL best practices.
  3. Reviews and tests changes, interfaces, data conversion, enhancements and each new release as assigned. Develops and maintains test scripts to reflect proposed workflow solutions. Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external regulatory and compliance mandates.
  4. Provides knowledge of product features, functionality and utilization of the application software. Participates in application deployment, go-live support and procedure documentation.
  5. Monitors system effectiveness and performance to determine if there are any potential problems, reports critical findings to peers and/or manager and resolves somewhat complex
  6. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Required: 1 years or more of experience in application analysis or related.
  • Preferred: 3 years or more of experience in application analysis, supporting a Help Desk in healthcare or IT environment or related.

SKILLS

  • Proven ability to meet daily and monthly deliverables required.
  • Working cross functionally in organization to support business strategic goals and plans required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Good organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to prioritize tasks required.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting issues required.
  • Experience in application support setting preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office basic tools preferred.
  • Proficient in application information technology and service delivery preferred.
  • Strong organization, presentation and customer service skills preferred.
