Women's Thought Leadership Group

iMethods recognizes the unique – and growing – contributions women are making in the field of healthcare IT. But we still have a long way to go.

The Women’s Thought Leadership Group (TLG) offers unparalleled networking, professional development and education, mentorship and a meaningful exchange of ideas with your female colleagues from across the country.

Due to the significant interest we’ve experienced since kicking off the TLG last year, iMethods has established two regionally-based groups (one in the eastern part of the US, one in the west). This invitation-only program is limited to 20 participants in each region.

You can expect to deeply engage with colleagues in healthcare IT (within and outside of iMethods) to better understand their perspectives on the market and challenges they face in their organizations and share best practices.

Group Member Benefits

Aside from having specified Summit-related costs covered each year, members will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Each member’s registration fee, transportation costs, two nights’ hotel stay and meals during that hotel stay will be covered by iMethods for the two events offered (Spring meeting and Fall Summit) in the form of flight, hotel and meal credits.
  • Learn from other members and guest speakers (e.g., technology innovators, industry analysts, health system leaders, etc.).
  • Network with fellow female leaders in healthcare IT, expanding the current member network exponentially.
  • Enjoy focused iMethods marketing efforts to promote member expertise in various media (such as email or digital/social media campaigns).
  • Participation in a dedicated page on iMethods’ website dedicated to TLG and its members (optional)

Roles, Responsibilities & Meeting Cadence

As this is an invitation-only program, members may be asked to contribute ideas/content in advance of each TLG event to ensure we are providing value to its members. This contribution may come in the form of a meeting or gathered via survey.

Members will be asked to contribute content for one blog, podcast, conference presentation or case study per year and/or give a presentation at an iMethods event about a market or technology topic that is both relevant to her area of expertise and of interest to her peers in the TLG and women leaders in the healthcare IT market.

Each TLG member will participate for 24 months, with a roll-off option at 18 months. The TLGs will meet regionally once per year (hosted by one of the TLG members) and nationally (in combination with the other TLG) as part of iMethods annual Healthcare Education Summit. A dedicated block of time will be dedicated to a Women in Leadership pre-Summit event.
