We’re looking for candidates based in Jacksonville, FL.

Key Responsibilities Will Include: 

  • Implement, configure and maintain assigned Epic applications to support clinical and operational workflows
  • Perform comprehensive build and testing within Epic environment, including new implementation build, post-go-live optimization and break/fix updates
  • Collaborate closely with end-users to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective Epic solutions and ensure system functionality meets expectations.
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyze system performance and deliver timely resolutions to maintain application stability.
  • This role is part of a structured five-year development program designed to take you from trainee to fully certified and experienced Epic Analyst
    • Phase 1: Epic Certification ( 1 – 3 months)
      • Attend Epic training in Verona, WI
      • Complete assigned coursework and build projects
      • Pass Epic certification exams (three attempts provided)
    • Phase 2: Epic Implementation (Approx. 15 months)
      • Work directly with Hospital team
      • Build and configure Epic applications
      • Participate in testing and validation
      • Support the system through go-live
    • Phase 3: Post-Live Support (36 months)
      • Implement upgrades and new features
      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues
      • Support end-users and optimize workflows
    • Phase 4: Post-Project Path
      • Upon completion, you will have the experience to continue with the hospital project OR transition to new EPic clients as a consultant

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present data in a clear, concise and actionable manner
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong comfort and aptitude for learning new technology systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Ability to commit to a structured five-year development program
  • Willingness and ability to travel 1 – 2 times to Verona, WI for Epic Certification
    • Required to achieve certification within 8 weeks of training completion, with up to three exam attempts permitted
  • Ability to travel to Louisiana once per month for approximately the first 15 months
  • Ability to work 4 days per week onsite at the iMethods office; Fridays will be remote
  • Availability for limited on-call rotations during the post-live support phase
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment

Required Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent professional experience (healthcare, military or technology background preferred)
  • Commitment to passing Epic certification exams within the required three attempts
