iMethods is seeking a Tele-radiology Operations Manager for a healthcare client in the Orlando, Florida area. This is a full-time position and will require candidates live in OR relocate to the Orlando, Florida area.
The Operations Manager is responsible for development and growth of the client Teleradiology program by establishing and maintaining external Teleradiology partnerships as well as assuring the efficient delivery of Teleradiology services to partners. This individual will serve as the liaison between the client and its teleradiology customers and as such, plays a prominent role in all aspects of service delivery. Teleradiology mandates a strong collaborative effort among the organization’s staff, IT colleagues, vendors and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, access available applications and technologies, develop detailed specifications, and evaluate and recommend solution options. This individual ensures that internal relationships are maintained and that all dependent aspects of the organization are working seamlessly to deliver teleradiology services. As part of the Radiology leadership team this person will effectively participates in leadership discussions to develop departmental goals, standards, policies and project prioritization, including budgeting and resource planning. In addition, as an Operational Manager this individual will partner with the Chairs of Medical Imaging and the administrative leadership team to oversee the financial and quality performance of teleradiology services.
o Understands the organization’s business goals and objectives. Knows how to use operational and IT processes to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented. Contribute to the development of annual application strategies, budgets, and plans.
o Maintains a current detailed understanding of strategic business initiatives and how they relate to organizational goals and objectives. Ensures that as projects are implemented, the organization’s strategic initiatives are among the constant drivers and project guidelines.
o Displays exceptional customer service abilities and serves as a positive representation of the hospital when relating to partners and meeting service needs and requests.
o Demonstrates strong multitasking skills displaying the ability to manage staff, many tasks and daily operation; providing collaborative direction to members of the team as needed.
o Utilizes continuous improvement methodology and implements process improvements to assist Teleradiology providers to gain efficiency in Teleradiology service delivery.
o Assists in the management of project resources, both human and monetary. Identify resource short falls and communicates with Chair. Makes recommendations for resource changes or enhancements where appropriate. Assists in the allocation of project resources appropriately for cost effective implementations and application utilization.
o Organizes, facilitates, and coordinates the activities of multiple project teams in collaboration with operational and informatics work groups and leadership.
o Assists in the development of Teleradiology policies and procedures for the organization.
o Assists in the development of new teleradiology use cases working as a liaison between the teleradiology / telehealth teams, business development partners, operational managers, providers, coding, credentialing, and other departments as necessary.
o Collaborates in the creation and maintenance Teleradiology policies and procedures for the organization.
o Master's Degree required.
o Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience required.
o 3-5 years experience in managing large revenue, capital and operating intensive radiology operations or radiology informatics, experience in managing collaborative joint ventures.
o C.R.A Certified Radiology Administrator preferred.
