iMethods is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hospital partner in the Oklahoma City area. Candidates must be local to OKC or within a short driving distance as this is a full time position and will require daily onsite presence.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Science or related. Technical certification preferred. (MCSE, EMCISA, EMCSA, VCP, VCAP)
Experience: Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in information technology enterprise systems.
The Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by planning, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Systems Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to the Systems Specialist staff. The role ensures a best-in-class IT Infrastructure operation in support of the hospital’s business and clinical objectives, security, regulatory and all other requirements set forth by leadership.
6+ years of general experience in information technology enterprise systems.
3+ years of experience with Server engineering (specific focus on building and supporting server and enterprise storage solutions preferred); Pure Storage, Dell/EMC Isilon & Data Domain experience a plus.
3+ years of experience working with Dell servers, Cisco UCS servers
6+ years of experience in Windows Server technology, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, SQL, Exchange, and SharePoint.
6+ years of experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware and Citrix)
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (setup, configuration, design, and support)
6+ years of experience in documenting enterprise systems.
6+ years of experience in systems monitoring.
Security Engineering Management experience is a plus
3+ years of enterprise systems experience in Linux operating systems.
Strong knowledge of PKI, PGP, and digital certificates
Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Strong understanding of enterprise asset management.
Deep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies and methods (e.g. cloud technologies) and experience employing these technologies
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, security standards and compliance issues ISO 17799, Cobit V4.0, and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
Proficient in other IT control areas (i.e., change management, SDLC, Operations)
