iMethods is currently looking for a Sr. System Analyst (Allscripts Orders)  for a wonderful health system in the Phoenix Arizona area.  This is a full time role that will require some to live in or near the Phoenix area.


The experienced Applications Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and developing clinical Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager application tools to meet customer needs; support project implementation activity; document requirements and define scope and objectives. Provide technical application(s) support across multiple environments with a primary focus on Allscripts SCM EHR software and more specifically Oncology Orders. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required. This position works under general supervision. Performs activities related to the design, build, implementation, and support for the clinical based applications. Provides general analysis of applications and procedures within the healthcare setting. Performs work that tends to be of moderate to high technical and clinical complexity. Acts as a liaison between the Information Technology department and organizational units to tailor the Clinical System to meet the unique needs of the Hospital.



  • Experience in the design, build, implementation and maintenance of Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager systems.
  • Experience collecting user requirements, translating to system feature enhancements, and requesting enhancements of a system administrator.
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze EHR features and functionality for problem resolution.
  • Provide support for the correct operational and clinical processes aligned with client’s best practices.
  • Troubleshoot system issues to resolution or escalation to vendor.
  • Provide after-hours “on-call” support to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Educates end users on design recommendations and configuration tasks to ensure their understanding and knowledge of maintaining ambulatory workflows and content long term.
  • Adheres to change management process for break fix and any system changes.
  • Performs system testing to ensure that all product functions work as designed.
  • May exercise independent judgment to determine the appropriate course of action to be taken based on the analysis performed and all possible solutions.
  • Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes a favorable working relationship with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with Allscripts SCM Oncology Orders
  • Clinical Background Preferred
