iMethods is seeking a Senior DBA for a healthcare client in the St. Augustine, FL area. This is a full time position and will require relocation. Also to note, previous experience with Allscripts is highly preferred.
Job Description Details
Provides oversight for the maintenance, development and deployment of information processes stemming from various SQL Datasets. Serves as point of contact systems interface. Provides support and training for end users as necessary. Responsible for all design aspects of database-related technologies and projects for both on-premise and cloud-based implementations as well ask upgrades to existing enterprise based systems.

Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred: Degree with a strong emphasis in Computer Sciences
Skills and Abilities: Must be able to work independently or in a group as necessary. Computer knowledge and data processing experience required. Must be capable of working independently to solve Information Systems problems. Must have a basic working knowledge of the Clinical Systems within Information Systems. Must have a basic working knowledge of the Financial Systems within Information Systems. Must have a basic working knowledge of all non-HIS Clinical Systems within Information

Experience with SQL Server Always On 2014 and 2016
Proficient in the following RDBMS: SQL Server 2012 – 2016(expert), Oracle 11g and 12c (basic)
Proficient in the MSSQL Services: SSRS (expert), SSIS(basic), SSAS(basic)
Working knowledge of AIX
Working knowledge of Active Directory
Additional Information: Sufficient experience to demonstrate high degree of understanding of computer concepts including HL7
and .Net programming; must be proficient in hardware and software concepts; sufficient experience to demonstrate successful
interaction with individuals of various computer experiences.
Allscripts Inpatient and other applications experience preferred (SFM, PFM, EPSI and Sunrise Suite)
Manage configuration of database servers including installation and configuration of the operating system and underlying
Install and configure relevant network components to ensure database access, consistency and integrity.
Monitor, optimize and report on system performance with the database, including stored procedures execution time, implement
efficiency improvements, index tuning, disk utilization and optimization.
Design, document, and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving.
Administer security and disaster recovery databases, including back-up, recovery, security audits, database health checks and
disaster recovery testing and planning.
Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems and environments.
Work incident tickets including problem isolation, analysis, root cause, and solution implementation.
Determine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives
with clients; evaluating current systems.
Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards.
Install and test upgrades and patches for the database servers and the database management tools in all environments
Train all Jr. DBAs in best practices in database maintenance and performance optimization.
