SENIOR EPIC ANALYST
[EpicCare Ambulatory & Radiology Oncology]

iMethods is seeking a Senior Epic Systems Analyst to support the implementation of the EpicCare EHR and related applications for the healthcare client. This resource will be responsible for the configuration and support of Epic Beacon and Ambulatory while consistently exceeding the customers’ expectations and support the corporate objectives of the client during their implementation. This is a contract position that is 100% remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the support, configuration and testing of EpicCare Beacon Oncology.
  • Responsible for the support, configuration and testing of EpicCare Ambulatory.
  • Apply expert knowledge in implementing Epic Beacon and Ambulatory in complex, academic healthcare hospital environment.
  • Leverages clinical knowledge to recommend best practices in build and design of Epic as it relates to oncology (Beacon), Ambulatory and related areas.
  • Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications.
  • Configure application settings and validate configurations performed by Application Analysts.
  • Oversee analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Emory Healthcare associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification.
  • Provide advanced application troubleshooting support for the application(s).
  • Resolve critical issues independently as necessary.
  • Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users.
  • Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements.
  • Proactively communicate, schedule and resolve issues and meetings as they relate to Epic Beacon and/or Ambulatory.
  • Manage vendor communications needed for support, issue resolution and escalation.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • EpicCare Ambulatory Certification, with current 2021/2022 NVTs.
  • Experience implementing EpicCare EHR at enterprise healthcare systems. 
  • Strong professional interpersonal skills in working with others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • EpicCare Beacon Oncology Certification, with current 2021/2022 NVTs.
  • Registered Nurse (BSN or RN); no requirement/limitation on state licensure(s).
  • Experience with implementation of Epic EHR in an academic healthcare and/or hospital setting.
  • Five (5) or more years of EpicCare configuration experience.
  • Experience integrating Epic Beacon into 3rd party oncology systems; experience Varian ARIA Oncology Information System
