iMethods is currently seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to join our clients Consumer Experience team for a part-time (20 hrs/week) position with potential to be converted to a full-time position. The position is based out of Jacksonville, FL but has flexibility to remote.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, self-motivated, detail-oriented and has excellent problem-solving abilities. The desired candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a deep understanding of customer experience & journey design and implementation.

Candidates should have experience and knowledge of email/SMS campaign workflows, deliverability best practices, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Studio, Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, Email Studio, and deployment best practices.

Responsibilities and Skills required:

  • Deep knowledge of the SFMC platform
  • Implement/work with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Interaction Studio, Audience Studio
  • Proficient in Marketing cloud connector and Integration with service cloud Integration with external systems and knowledge of DMP and data integration is key
  • Facilitate audience lists, data flows into/out of SFMC, and tracking/reporting of campaign results.
  • Assist in management of timelines and communication plans across various audience segments and digital channels.
  • Develop email templates, which may include light coding of emails using HTML and CSS
  • Ensure Journeys are executed on-time and error free.
  • Familiarity with Server-side Java Script + Automation Studio to make API calls
  • Understand business needs from multiple business stakeholders and synthesize into solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform as a component of the overall Salesforce integrated platform
  • Build analytics reports and dashboards to provide visibility into marketing campaign/email results and measure effectiveness validating solution components and provide solution walkthrough with stakeholders
  • Provide troubleshooting / first line of support for stakeholders working on deliverables and encountering errors or technical issues with SFMC or CRM platform
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, specifically
    • Contact Builder relational data model configuration
    • SQL-based query activities for audience segmentation, reporting and data extracts Amp scripting and content builder
    • Designing and creating automations via Automation Studio and file imports
    • Content Builder dynamic email creation
    • REST support for leveraging Marketing Cloud web service to transfer data into journeys and data extensions
    • Build triggered sends, journeys, and automations
    • Landing page and web form creation via Cloud Pages
    • SMS Text campaigns via MobileConnect in Mobile Studio
  • 4+ years' experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • 4+ years' experience in email/mobile SMS campaign execution and/or related marketing and/or development experience, which could include a mix of architecture, design, and hands-on coding and hand-on use of Email Service Platforms (ESPs) or SMS Platforms
  • Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Developer required
  • Knowledge of data architectural & integration principles
  • Experience with SQL scripting for automated and triggered deployments, managing QA/UAT testing.
  • Experience with project management associated with implementing marketing email campaigns, including managing timelines, creative feedback, audience targeting criteria, approval cycles, etc.
