iMethods is currently looking for an IT Revenue Cycle Manager for a client in Jacksonville, FL. This is an permanent position and will require full time residence or relocation to the Jacksonville market.
The Revenue Cycle Systems Applications Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital information systems, reporting to the Director of Clinical Applications.
Coordinates development of requested databases.
Maintains quality indicator monitoring reporting as required for Performance Improvement Activities. Serves in a leadership role in the development of performance improvement project teams.
Manages and coordinates department activities with a customer service focus.
Works with the director to develop goals and objectives for department operation. (15%)
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, conferences and professional affiliations. (5%)
Responsible for training/orientation, scheduling and assigning staff members. (15%)
Evaluates performance and initiates or recommends personnel action. (15%)
Prepares and recommends department budget for the clinical and financial information systems/applications and ensures
that each operated within allocated funds. (10%)
Establishes and maintains performance improvement indicators for quality monitoring and environmental safety. (10%)
Assist with development/enforcement of policies and procedures inclusive of systems security. (5%)
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other relevant meetings as required. (10%)
Participates in team building activities in a leadership role. (5%)
Provides guidance to Network and Systems Specialist as needed for applications and related issues. (10%)
Associate's degree or two (2) years specialized training in an applicable field required.
Three (3) years’ experience in computer systems and project is required. Additional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis lieu of education.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field.
Necessary Skills: Must possess previous project management experience.
Required Experience: 3-5 years – Experience in computer systems and project management.
Supervision: Supervisory responsibility of 10 employees.
Budgetary Responsibility: Responsible for annual budget of $2 Million.
