iMethods is seeking a Revenue Cycle Product Manager consultant for a healthcare client in the Kansas City metro area. This position is a 6 month consulting position that will initially require onsite Monday through Thursday and then become 50% remote after 4 weeks.
As a member of the Commercial Payments Product Management team, a successful candidate will utilize their industry knowledge across payments and healthcare to manage the existing healthcare payments products as well as focusing on the development of new strategies and products which promote the growth of the fee-based businesses. A successful candidate will be responsible for:
1) An in depth understanding of the Revenue Cycle Process and pain points healthcare customers are facing with specific focus on Cerner and Epic rev cycle processes 2) Researching and tracking trends within the healthcare space and how these trends could impact client customers 3) Identifying new product concepts and opportunities including the development of business cases 4) Pricing and Packaging of existing and new healthcare solutions 5) Product alignment internally and externally for existing and new solutions 6) Competitive intelligence and product positioning in the market – educating product and sales partners on industry trends 7) Develop internal and external communication plan for product launches and enhancements 8) Update and present product roadmaps to management to keep them informed of enhancements and timing of development
Education: – College degree required – Pragmatic Marketing Certification is preferred
Experience: – 5+ years of product development experience – 5+ years of experience with Revenue Cycle and or Healthcare Payment Automation Solutions, specifically with Cerner and/or Epic rev cycle experience – 5+ years managing Healthcare Industry Trends and or Strategy – 5+ years managing Pricing, packing, positioning and competitive intelligence with in the healthcare industry
