iMethods is seeking a Network Enterprise Architect, Principal Engineer to be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Service and Stewardship by providing business support services that consistently exceed customer’s expectations and support corporate objectives. This position will be responsible for the current and future architecture, planning and design of the enterprise infrastructure. Pursue operational excellence by providing business consulting and process engineering support services to various areas within the organization. Utilizes technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems and develop solutions for, and with, business users, and coordinates with other team members to support the operational excellence goals. The associate in this position will be expected to act as a lead on special projects focused on operational excellence and customer experience. This position requires the ability to deal effectively with multiple complex systems and be a key partner to drive meaningful operational change as well as partner with the technology organization and senior leadership to create new value and experiences.
Develop the strategy for enterprise network architecture and network services to support data, voice, video, telephony, and other network dependent technologies
Key player in the architecture, design, and implementation of full-life cycle network infrastructure project integrations
Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex data network issues
Work and collaborate with project teams consisting of other Enterprise Architects, eIT/IT staff, client resources, contract resources, and 3rd party vendors to develop tactical plans that include strategy and fiscal requirements
Provide technical thought leadership while interacting closely with the business
Optimize network services, introduce innovative ideas, and foster service excellence through continuous improvement and high quality of service
Owns architectural evolution of our IDN network infrastructure to include use of internal facilities, the facilities of 3rd party service providers, and all required technologies to enable unified operations throughout the IDN
Develop and maintain detailed documentation including bill of material configurations, logical workflows, development requirements, IT requirements, and architectural documentation for change implementation and ongoing reference
Collaborate with Product Management and Support Operations on designing and building out our network capabilities in alignment with the needs of the business
Adheres to all regulatory and certification guidelines including HIPAA, state and Federal Guidelines, and others as communicated through management.
Responsible for analysis and identification network infrastructure technology risks with impact to the business.
Lead projects to implement strategies necessary to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace as it relates network services and system capabilities.
Participates in approved educational programs and activities related to our mission to keep abreast of current trends, best practices, and new developments in network infrastructure technology as they relate to specific job responsibilities.

Evaluate cost savings technical alternatives and recommendations
Monitors utilization trends, manages network performance, and assures maximum uptime; performs ongoing analysis, capacity planning, and technical tuning of the network systems to improve performance and reduce cost
Leads teams and department projects that operations coordinating with all affected internal areas, external vendors and customers to ensure that business needs and implementation time frames are met.
Establishes solid working relationships with customers and internal peers that enable the development of viable, cost effective administrative and system processes.
Ensures that we develop and maintain an industry-leading network infrastructure technology architecture and implementation which can rapidly scale to meet operational needs, business demand, and customer service expectations
Identifies, evaluate, and determine the best partners and technologies for our enterprise network architecture to maximize customer experience across our facilities and within each facility
Pro-actively facilitate internal and external technical design discussions, reconciling various points of view and making architecture decisions which enable the logical evolution of our capabilities
Collaborates with Engineering/Development to integrate new technologies into the technology stack, while maximizing benefits and avoiding operational disruptions.
Help to establish, maintain, and drive implementation of a forward-looking response operations platform roadmap.
Deep and broad experience with Network design/planning for enterprise networks
Experience with virtualization and cloud delivery of underlying computing platforms
Experience working in regulated business environments
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
10 years of experience in integration of network infrastructure technologies
Current CCNA or CCDA desired
7+ years architecture, design, deployment, configuration, and integrating peripheral systems
Strong customer facing skills along with excellent verbal and communication skills (technical documentation and client communication)
CCIE, CCNP or CCDP Preferred
Led multiple network infrastructure innovation projects that delivered business benefits
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
Ability to work extended hours as projects demand
Ability to lift up to 66 lbs multiple times per day
Ability to work in fast-paced, often stressful environments
