iMethods is currently seeking a full time Network Engineering Team Lead for a healthcare client in Jacksonville, Florida. The Network Engineering Lead assists and/or leads the implementation and troubleshooting for network systems of moderate to high-end complexity. They participate in network planning and engineering. Responsible for the assigned team of network engineers and the associated administrative functions aligned with the Health Systems IP data services inclusive of wired, wireless, internet and supporting system infrastructures.  The role provides direct team oversight with responsibility for coordination of team resources associated with project and operational workloads to ensure proper staff scheduling in alignment with organization priorities.


  • Perform documentation, implementation, and support of complex network and wireless systems
  • Perform detailed network troubleshooting utilizing packet capture and other utilities
  • Ensures compliance to all network, disaster recovery and security policies
  • Accountable for participating in large-scale cross discipline technical projects
  • Fully knowledgeable of cross-platform integration issues and troubleshooting processes from host, network, and application perspectives
  • Execute project and operational workloads as driven by manager and director
  • Ensure adherence to technology standards
  • Ensure all assigned technologies are highly available, achieving define service levels
  • Assist manager in staff scheduling of project, operational workloads, and PTO
  • Work within the defined architecture to ensure high quality service delivery with maximum operational performance
  • Work with leadership to develop new architectural guidelines in support of current and/or future standards.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from four-year College OR A.A. degree AND CCNP.
  • Must have lead or supervisory experience
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a network infrastructure environment.  Must have experience working in a corporate environment
  • CCNP or equivalent direct networking experience
  • Must possess high-level proficiencies in the configuration and deployment of converged networking infrastructures (e.g., Routers, Switches, wireless)
  • Large-scale implementation experience with Cisco data networking infrastructure
  • Must possess excellent technical problem isolation/problem solving skills across computer platforms, applications and networking devices
  • Must be able to develop, socialize and operationalize highly complex networking solutions necessary to meet business requirements, to all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to participate network related projects and coordinate with project managers and lines of businesses
  • Highly experienced with OSPF and BGP
  • Highly experienced with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure
  • Experience working with circuit providers such as AT&T, Verizon, and Level 3


  • PC Skills, MS Office, Project, VISIO, Ticketing
  • Knowledge of Cisco ASA firewalls is a plus.
  • Familiar with Cisco UCS platforms, virtualization, ESXi.
