Project Overview
• Role Needed: IT leadership, preferably on-site; open to remote or hybrid arrangements
• Engagement Duration: Now through end of June 2026
• Current Project: Integration work on the Door County side, currently under time pressure
Role Requirements
Experience:
• EHR conversions (Meditech preferred)
• Epic and HL7 integration knowledge
• Familiarity with Cloverleaf and Corepoint
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and HSHS IT team
• Manage coexistence of Meditech and Epic systems
• Support development of internal IT Manager’s leadership capacity
EHR Systems & Integration
• Current Systems:
• Meditech Expanse 2.1: Being scaled back in modules
• Epic: Not adopted due to $1M+ cost for 32-bed SNF
• Corepoint: Retained for SNF, not moving to Epic
• Integration Details:
• Cloverleaf managed by HSHS for integration
• Multiple EHRs to be maintained due to cost limitations
Budget Considerations
• Epic Implementation: Over $1M for SNF—deemed cost-prohibitive
• Meditech: Pricing being adjusted to fit current needs
Work Arrangement Preferences
• On-site preferred
• Remote and hybrid (e.g., 2 days/week onsite) arrangements acceptable
