iMethods is seeking an IT Governance, Risk, Compliance Analyst for a contract to full time hire opportunity with a health system in the Denver, CO area.  This position will require candidates be either local or open to relocate to the Denver area.  


  • This role is an integral part of the hospital IT Risk Team to create, implement, and manage the IT risk framework and processes necessary to assess, protect, and report on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the health system’s data and information assets across the enterprise.
  • Advise on and coordinate the design, implementation, and monitoring of supporting processes, policies, standards, and IT controls with the first line of defense risk and control owners
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and coordination of reporting of the overall IT risk posture, risk treatment decisions, and remediation plans
  • Coordinate, consult, and help ensure compliance with the HIPAA Security Rule, PCI, as well as other applicable federal and state laws
  • Participate in team efforts to plan, design, implement and maintain compliance and IT Risk initiatives
  • Work closely with internal audit, external audit, corporate compliance, and legal
  • Be willing to grow into process ownership and leadership positions within the IT Risk team


  • Minimum of three (3) years of IT Risk & Compliance, IT Audit and/or Information Security work experience, required
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT risk and controls, HIPAA, as well as industry frameworks (ie, NIST, ISO, CoBIT, etc), require
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment/analysis design and delivery, required
  • Prior IT GRC experience, required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Current Professional IT Risk, IT Audit, or Information Security Management certification: CRISC, CISA, CISSP or equivalent, preferred
