Imaging Systems Analyst specializing in the support and maintenance of Imaging and Cardiology-related applications for the enterprise health system. Imaging Systems Analyst will support the installation, operations, maintenance, and support of systems including PACS, CPACS/CVIS, RIS, Voice Dictation, etc.


  • Uses technical skills and provides guidance and direction in the development, implementation and maintenance of complex production information systems.
  • Conducts research in automation techniques to improve application performance, efficiency, and testing.
  • Determines and performs testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Adheres to internal controls and standards established for department.
  • Provides assistance in isolating and solving problems within application systems, interfaces, and middleware infrastructure.
  • Plans and coordinates programming projects within a particular work group.
  • Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment.
  • Assists and advises colleagues in the solution of highly technical and complex problems and solutions.
  • Functions as a senior programming consultant in advanced computer technology and architecture.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.


  • Seven (7) years of application systems/administration experience OR Five (5) years’ experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • Must be proficient in at least three (3) computer languages used currently in production.
  • Must be able to lead, engage and mentor others to achieve a very high level of application systems availability and integration.
  • Must have good business skills.
  • Must be able to lead problem solving efforts when mission critical systems are interrupted.
  • Ability to work alone assertively completing projects by deadlines.


  • Demonstrate competency and ability to support Imaging Informatics system interfaces.
  • Working level knowledge of Imaging Modalities (XR, US, MRI, CT, Nuclear, Mammo, EKG).
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wired/Wireless networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware (Advanced Workstations, Diagnostic monitors).
  • Basic/Advanced competency with Microsoft Windows OS at Desktop/Server level.
  • Experience with the technical support of PACS/RIS applications including access request and interface errors; experience with GE™ Healthcare preferred.
  • Experience with the technical support and maintenance of Cardiology Applications including
  • GE™ MUSE, Mac-Lab and CardioLab.
  • Experience with build and maintenance of dictation applications and hardware; additional experience with Nuance™ PowerScribe is preferred.
  • Experience with the supporting the daily clean up and maintenance of CVIS applications including FUJI™ Synapse Enterprise Imaging and/or Siemens™ Syngo Dynamics


  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Biomed, Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent combination of experience preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of application systems/administration experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
  • Certifications by PARCA preferred; i.e., Certified DICOM Integration Professional (CDIP)
  • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) preferred.
  • Experience as a Radiological Technician (AART) preferred.
