Methods is currently seeking an Epic HIM Team Lead to join the Epic Revenue Cycle team at a large health system in the Jacksonville, FL area.  This is a full-time position.  The ideal candidate will live in or relocate to the Jacksonville area.  Remote candidates, depending on location, might also be considered.

OVERVIEW:

  • As part of the Epic Revenue Cycle team, the Team Lead plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests, and maintains EPIC EHR hospital billing software applications. This person interfaces with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develops, and modifies procedures to solve data processing problems and prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written. SBO experience a plus. As the HIM Team Lead you will perform the role of an analyst and lead the Epic Patient Access analyst team supporting Prelude, Cadence, Welcome, RTE, and Referrals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates front end implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows with multiple modules.
  • Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity.
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Solves complex technical problems in own discipline.
  • Provides guidance to others on challenging technical matters within the discipline.
  • Leading project work within own team and perhaps on behalf of the larger department.
  • Coordinating work within the team or broader department on a regular basis.
  • Contributing to departmental operating plans.
  • May have some formal people management responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education/Degree Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Degree Preferred:
    • Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
