iMethods is seeking a Clinical Project Manager for a hospital-based client in the Indianapolis, Indiana area and surrounding regional communities for strategic project initiatives. This will be an FTE role, and will require candidates who either live in, or agree to relocate to the Indianapolis area.

OVERVIEW:

The Project Management job family is responsible for supporting all the functions for the Project Management Office; including project management processes, reporting, IT fiscal management, and for the success of projects measured in terms of attaining objectives for project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions with work completed with accuracy and sound judgment ensuring objectives are met.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, generally managing multiple technically complex projects at one time from original concept to implementation.
  • Given the scope of highly complex projects or simultaneous multiple, medium to large sized projects; the Project Manager, directs the completion of the required activities for:
    • Integration management
    • Scope management
    • Schedule management
    • Cost management
    • Quality management
    • Communication & stakeholder management
    • Risk management
    • Change management
    • Defines project scope and objectives.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimate, resource plans, and status reports for the most complex enterprise technology projects.
  • Defined projects include:
  • Cerner Clinical Systems Implementation experience
  • Adult Outpatient Facility Infrastructure
  • New Hospital or Construction experience helpful.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum six (5) years of related experience.
  • PMP Certification helpful but not required
  • Healthcare IT Project Management experience strongly preferred
  • EMR Project Portfolio Management expertise desired
  • Experience as an RN is helpful but not required
