iMethods is currently seeking a Business Architect for a large healthcare system in the Kansas City Metro area. This is a full-time position and will require relocation to the area.
Assists in developing a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
Supports lead architect in applying a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
Assists capturing the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
Support defining the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, resources and controls are involved in the process.
Assist defining the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between those data.
Help capture the relationships among roles, capabilities and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units.
Assist in key management and thought leadership role in the areas of advanced modeling techniques, including capability modeling, system modeling, process modeling, and data modeling.
Assist in establishing standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of Enterprise Business Architecture practice.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology
Minimum of 3 years’ experience using model-based representations
3 years’ experience using and/or certified in TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience modeling and documenting process
Master's degree in Business or Information Technology
Experience with Microsoft Access, OneNote, Project, Planview
Strong analysis, modeling and problem-solving skills
