Susan Loney is a Registered Nurse with more than 30 years of experience in critical care, ED, pre-hospital settings, travel nursing and leadership roles.
She started in Nursing Informatics at Cleveland Clinic participating in product selection, assessments, end user training and implementation of an ED triage and tracking system. She worked for a period of time at Allscripts (then Eclipsys) as an implementation consultant and later Solutions Architect for the company’s surgery scheduling and documentation platform. Her expertise in the perioperative space, particularly with the Allscripts Surgical Care application, led her to start an independent consultancy where she’s helped more than 18 health systems and surgery centers implement Surgical Care and iProcedures.
