This dynamic recruiting role will lead by example to drive the recruitment process for prospective candidates and consultants in healthcare IT positions. The Senior HIT Recruiter will be critical to supporting business development and generating revenue growth from existing and newly formed relationships. This role coordinates with members of the Client Results team, Delivery team, and leadership to ensure exceptional quality service for our client partners. This is an exempt position that will report to the HIT Recruiting Manager.

Aside from standard recruiter responsibilities, this position is also responsible for providing exceptional service to the team, both in a leadership and supporting capacity. As a Senior Healthcare IT Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to work with new recruiters on the team, mentoring them and sharing best practices as they hone their professional skill set.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit qualified applicants for a variety of Healthcare IT positions using various approaches, platforms and job boards
  • Perform candidate pre-screens via phone or virtual meeting to establish a relationship, review qualifications and ensure cultural fit for our client partners
  • Obtain and conduct candidate managerial reference checks, dub resumes and prepare professional summaries prior to client submittals, delegating to Recruiting Coordinators as appropriate
  • Establish and achieve short and long-term recruiting goals in partnership with management to ensure personal and company success
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of current and prospective Healthcare IT professionals
  • Create Quality Assurance cadence with consultants to maintain and grow relationships, allowing iMethods to be proactive with coaching opportunities
  • Lead the Delivery Team by example, setting the bar for recruiting best practices, performance and ethical behavior
  • Act as a “Training Buddy” for new recruiters, serving as a point of contact and ally during the critical onboarding stage
  • Consistently contribute to the evolution of the Delivery Team by taking initiative and partnering with leadership to create and improve recruiting processes and procedures
  • Interact with an existing network of Healthcare IT professionals and continuously seek new prospects to increase organizational footprint and impact
  • Attend internal meetings, marketing events, job fairs and industry conferences as required
  • Build and manage interpersonal relationships with internal team members, leadership and contracted employees
  • Coordinate with marketing to promote opportunities and find the right candidates for open positions

Required Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or 2-5 years of work experience
  • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within healthcare IT
  • 1+ years of experience in a Healthcare IT recruiting environment with a proven successful track record
